The self contiousness will disappear and one finds out how much of those fears and doubts and selfknowledge is also found in others, in different ways maybe, but it will haunt you each and every time and your strength is in God, He holds you in the palm of His hands, but the struggle is yours and the safe place is yours also, share, share, share, and yes, play, it is not selfish or just because of you, it is growth for you and others, I myself love to see everyone involved in our services and share their God given talents with others, good things will grow out of that, and yes, God likes a good laugh too, think of the book "the shack" weather it was a dream, reality, fiction, God and Jesus both had a lot of fun, and when something went wrong, instead of getting all grumbly about it, they had a good laugh and picked themselves up and got on, we need to have humour to survive, and somehow God showed us that he has humour also, after all we are made in God's image, that means besides what happened to us with the sin in the garden of Eden, we are exactly like him, and with the armour of God, we have to fight the evils and self doubts and also the pounding we do to ourselves, fight it, don't worry, God is there, you can talk to him constantly, just as Paul says, we can give it all over, Johan and I needed to do that with the re-appearance of the cancer and the uncertainty what is going to happen and how will Johan survive it. Difficult and with the love of you, congregation, family, friends and especially God's promise and leaving it with him, it makes it a lot easier to take and go along with whatever we have to face in the next couple of months. But my armour must be crushed by now, but it is still there and always will be, because God and the blood of Jesus represent that armour, and no-one can take that away, evil, doubt, another source of evil, can try and constantly do one way or another, but God has the final word, and so do you fighting that evil. Be free, and explore, get us involved as a congregation, we will have fun and laughter and God is smiling, believe me.
